TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Prices quoted apply to Category 1 motorcycles, Cat 2 motorcycles have a 10% surcharge and the surcharge for Cat 3 motorcycles is on request.
We may accept a booking online, via telephone or email. To confirm a booking a deposit is required – once the deposit is received the booking is confirmed. Spaces will not be reserved without deposits.
Payments & Fees:
All payments must be made in full at least 60 days prior to the shipment date.
Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE or transferable within 90 days of shipment / travel date (whichever comes sooner)
Exceptions may be made on a case per case basis considering demand / cancellation list etc.
We strongly advise having adequate Travel Insurance in place at the time of booking.
Preparation for Shipping:
(LUGGAGE)
All rider gear including boots and helmets should be packed into a kit/sports bag and labelled with the owner’s name, bike make/model and registration. One kit bag permitted per Bike (max 20kgs)
Please note loose helmets, items or items tied onto the motorcycle will not be transported.
Bin liners, rubbish bags, suitcases, laundry bags etc are not acceptable.
Oversized suitcases or hard luggage with wheels and retractable style handles or golf bags also are not acceptable.
Hard and soft panniers should be left accessible and hard side panniers removed prior to loading from the motorcycle for transport & customs / Police inspection purposes.
Luggage must not be shrink wrapped or bubble wrapped, it has to be accessible at all times.
Any luggage we may take that is outside these conditions is loaded at the riders/customers own risk and any damage that luggage causes to the bike or itself as its stacked on tthe bike or under and is at riders / customers own risk, if these rules are ignored we can refuse to carry the luggage or the bike and if we do agree to carry extra, we reserve the right to charge at £100 for every one tenth of a cubic meter or £5.00 a kilo which ever is the most.
Any movement that includes a customs border must have a full detailed inventory of all goods belonging to the rider and must only be bike related essentials, anything else must be carried in the hand luggage or luggage on the airline used.
Motorbikes are insured to the value of £50,000 each with a Lloyd's of London backed insurance policy, Your Luggage and personal belongings are not insured for damage, only loss if the above guidelines have been adhered to.
Motorcycles should be in a clean and presentable condition both for outbound and return shipments. If your motorcycle is considerably dirty post trip please wash it before returning it. This particularly applies to those riding off-road. We reserve the right to refuse transport outbound or return.
Alarms should be switched off or in “Ferry” mode for transport purposes and instructions provided for same. If in doubt Batteries disconnected as they will drain in transit, and make a note of any pin numbers or codes to restart if battery drains or is disconnected.
Fuel level should be kept to a minimum.
Keys for both the motorcycle and luggage should be left with the motorcycle paperwork in an A4 Folder, envelope.
At handover we will require the registration document / logbook and a clear printed A4 copy of the riders passport picture page.
Flights:
It is your responsibility to confirm suitable flights / collection times./Hotel drop offs. Should an airline change their schedule, we will do our best to facilitate but it may not be possible considering our shipping schedule/logistics.
Categories are primarily determined by the overall width/height of the motorcycle (including luggage).
Note:
Category 1 refers to trail / enduro motorcycles 450cc or less without hard luggage.
Category 2 refers to sports, naked, touring and sports touring, touring and adventure touring motorcycles with or without hard luggage. Examples of which would be BMW RT’s, GS and GS Adventures, Pan Europeans, Kawasaki GTR’s & Yamaha FJR’s
Category 3 refers to very large motorcycles. Examples of which would be BMW LT’s, Goldwings & Harley Electra Glides, Road Kings etc.

Bookings are not confirmed until deposits are paid. Deposits are non-refundable or transferable within 90 days of shipping.
We highly recommend travel insurance.
Dates advertised are the dates when the motorcycles will be available at the destination.
Transit time is typically 1 week each way. Normally we require the motorcycles ready 8 days before scheduled arrival date at the destination.
Prices quoted are for return transport including one kit bag (20kg) per person for all riding gear. Should you require one way transport please contact us.
A shipping checklist and detailed pickup information will be provided 1 month prior to shipping.
Should you require something different to that listed please contact us as there are some dates still available and we may be able to accommodate an extra trip or different dates.
